In another topic, it came to my attention that I do not know the difference between a blog and a forum. What I am attempting to do is replicate the features of a friend's homepage (http://www.welcometotheadventure.com/phpnuke/index.php .)
Isn't that a blog? What I want to be able to do is to post updates to a previous post with the original post remaining completely available. I think the homepage I mentioned would give this flexibility. It seems he adds commentary as a new addendum. Each addition is monitored as a statistically independent element of the page.
