I would download phpBB.

I installed it today and it was pretty easy.

What the hell? Did you even read the post? It says blog, not forum. I'm writing this post assuming you know the difference. If you don't, well, then there's not much hope for you.

if you require a standalone blog, i would recomend wordpress. its pretty much the best blog s/w right now.

Dude, wordpress will just piss you off if you are impatient.

I'm irritated by wordpresss now, it's addmin panel is full of dumb bugs.

I have no idea why Bondings World is still using Wordpress. Don't ask me even when I own the domain Rolling Eyes.

I prefer NucleusCMS.

Don't be fooled by the CMS word, it's not a CMS.

Phpnuke is not a blog but a complete CMs ,which can have blogs too . anyway if u looking for only a blog there are many to choose from

but before u use something , make sure what u want to do with it , and will it be usefull to u , i have installed many things and later on found they dont do the work i want them to do ,

so here is a url for u , which has demos for cms, blogs, forums , and many others , try it out there first , http://www.opensourcecms.com/

in the left there u can choose the demo

O.K., I don't know the difference between a forum and a blog. What I want is the homepage I mentioned in the initial post of this thread.

Isn't that a blog? What I want to be able to do is to post updates to a previous post with the original post remaining completely available. I think the homepage I mentioned would give this flexibility. It seems he adds commentary as a new addendum. Each addition is monitored as a statistically independent element of the page.

Sorry for my initial post--I didn't read carefully enough. That page looks typical of any other page I've seen made by phpNuke but I don't know much about phpNuke. I'm sure that someone here does.
