What do you guys think about WEP crackers. do you like em and are they legal to use. I can't find out and I would really like to know if they are legal or not.

I couldn't tell you based on fact, but I think they are illegal to use. You are essentially hacking - in the UK, this would be covered by the Computer Misuse Act since you are trying to access a network and network content that you are not authorised for.
I think they're unethical and can see virtually no legitimate reason anyone would have to use one.

Do they exist, and what do they do. I guess I have to read up on encryption again. But then I use WAP for my Wireless network.
Legal? I don't know. But I can think of only a few legal applications. What do you want with a WEP cracker. Make sure your own network is insecure?
