It has to do not with advent Children, but with Final Fantasy 7. Cerebrus is the name of Vincent's gun.

Dirge of Cerberus is out in Japan right now so pretty soon there should be a lot of information available on the internet, mainly on Final Fantasy fansites and such. It's a third person action/adventure shooter focused on Final Fantasy VII character Vincent. From what I've seen it looks pretty good, especially since it's made by a company that usually does turn based RPGs.
