Judo Tournament.

Hi everybody.

I am now having green belt in judo (3rd Kyu), and on friday I am going to my first judo tournament over the weekend.
It is located in Kiruna in Sweeden.

Now my question is:
Is there any one in this forum that practise judo, and in that case, do you have any fight relatated tips to give me?

At last I find a judokan.

Best person to ask for advice is your dan.

Try to be natural and deal with combat in a manner that allows you to react spontaneously in your own style. If your flexible maybe take that to your advantage by dogdging and wriggling.

I'm not a dan, only a yellow belt so you'd be giving me advice. I'm learning to take full advantage of any situation, not just use one particular technique to get out, but use as much techniques I've learned, try in every way to beat your opponent while keeping up my defence.

For instance my dan taught me yesterday to pull and grab as much as you can if you're held in a lock, while simulataneosly twisting and turning, making it difficult for the opponent to keep his hold.
