executing a perl script

i have a perl script on my space ..

but when i got to http://www.zvclan.frih.net/hlstats/hlstats.pl
it gives an error (permission denied)
although i set the permissions on 777 (accesible for all)

help met, what should i do Smile

(i need this script to get stats from our gamesserver)

btw, i already considered useing a php script to execute this perl script,
but haven't tried yet)

Try checking your Error Log (DirectAdmin --> Statistics). Errors that occur are usually listed in greater detail in the error log.

Also, try changing the permissions to 0755 instead of 0777, and see if it works then.
