i dont know if this is the right fourm (i think it is) but if i download a free teplate from the web how do i get it to be my website? I am such a noob at this stuff and if someone can please explain it to me ill be very greatful

You simply upload it in the folder that you want (although its usually the root) and point your browser to the location. (I'd recommend uplaoding it by FTP, even I can't be doing with the fuss of binary and ASCII).

Firstly you need to get someone to host your web site!
If you check out Frihost faq's etc., you could get hosted here, this is a free subdomain host and could be something like 'yourname.fri.net'.
Once hosted then you can FTP your pages to a directory on your host, normaly 'public_html'.
Then they are visible in any(?) browser.
