Thursday Intel announced the successor to its 37 year old logo and the "Intel Inside” slogan that has accompanied it for the last decade. The new logo features a similar oval swirl surrounding the company name which no longer features the lowered "e" along with the new slogan "Leap Ahead". Intel is expected to formally reveal this re-branding with further details during next weeks Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

I perfet the 'Intel Inside' logo, as that's all I've known. It just seems so wrong.

Leap ahead - as the new slogan says! It's a good idea to move with the times! Sure, we've all "grown up" on "Intel Inside", but all that tells us is that the product is made by Intel. But the new "Leap Ahead" slogan inspires to action and tells you that the company is innovative and forward looking - something to inspire investors and users alike with confidence. I like it.
Remember what Armstrong said when he landed on the moon? Intel is not alone in the processor market, and if they plan to leap ahead, then I for one am happy.
I recently debated whether to buy an Intel P4 processor or an AMD processor, before I decided that I still prefer Intel. The new slogan inspires me with confidence!
a lot of things happening with intel lately, as well as the core duo and apple contract
good to see the change, and change always has a positive outcome.
In my crazy opinion...we need something more attractive
I think you should keep your Frihost$ as well, because it really works well with the market system, and really serves as a great reward to those who try to improve the community.
Bring em Back!
Really didnt like the new Logo and new Slogan. Intel Inside was good enough.
Yes, well, sometimes when you leap you trip and fall and stumble... and die. Okay, so the dying part was too far, but anyways, or you can be like me and leap off a cliff (into water, I'm not that stupid).
But I suppose it does make you think that they are looking forward, and they still kept that oh-so-familiar circular-type thing around the intel, so I can compromise with that.
If you ask me this is just another plan or way of intel to get people thinking that they are better and so they get more customers. I mean right now it is without doubt that the best dual core processor is AMD athlon 64 X2. I mean it was made for gaming and everything else what more you want.
And if that is not enough I read like last year that Intel had sued AMD for making them lose money on customers. Why do you sue another company for not being wanted by people, makes no sense especially since no one wants you anymore lol. Well that is for all us gamers!
