...who would it be?
(Let's say we're on a desert island with a solar mp3player that has the full repertoir of only one artist on it)

Gorillaz for me because their music varies quite a bit so it wouln't be like listening to exactly the same thing all the time. Downside to that is they have only released two albums (i think), so there wouldn't be that much to listen to.
Any/Either of the following:
Metallica
Danny Elfman (including all Oingo Boingo)
Led Zep
Rush
Pink Floyd
Rush!
Especially if you could take every one of their albums, you'd have hours of quality music to listen to then.
Maybe Porcupine Tree...
feel free to bash my head in...
Rancid
possilby beathoven although probably metallica.
Hard.
I think I would choose the Who, because they have made so much stuff and I don't get tired of them.
Otherwise, Niel Young would been nice. I don't listen so much to his music, but I would never get tired of it, he had made so much different stuff.
This is a very hard question...
I would say... The Who or maybe the Rollings Stones.
Things like that because new bands are annoying after 3 or 4hours.
hum... difficult.
I think I would choose EZ3kiel (france ; drum'n bass )
or Nasum ( sweden ; grindcore )
or ( to finish...
) Neurosis (USA ; post-HxC )
If you could only listen to one band from here on...
...I would probably go mad. So, may as well take White Zombie along. Ooh, or for true madness, perhaps At The Drive In.
Probably the Clash...
Or the Sex Pistols...
Or the Exploited... (Damn! I'm decisive!)
Oh, Eminem hands down. He's done all kinds of rap, so each day you just choose a different album. BTW, do we have a stereo on the island?
G 'N R. November rain alone takes up half a lifetime. You'd be off that island (one way or another) in no time!
Hm... I think dashboard Confensional Or maybe..... Unchained melodies will be good
The Vines i think...but they don't really have that many songs...
