I have a question to ask...
Im trying to make one of my computer folders a non readonly folder.
but whenever I uncheck read only and hit apply, then ok, it just checks it self back to read-only. any help?
OK, this may happen because you did not create the folder (l had this problem on a network awhile ago
), lf you did not create the folder, or EVERY file in it, then you can not change it appropriatley (this does depend on your privledges however
), try this, copy that folder into another location (NOT INSIDE IT
) then after it is done copying, check to see if it is read only, if it is, uncheck and see if this worked.
If above solution fails, try this one:
Open the folder, select all files inside it and mark them non write-only. After that, select the folder and mark non write-only. I think it should work...
Read-Only means READ ONLY (unless, of course, you create it yourself). You're trying to modify it. Search on the net for a program that breaks the read-only status of the folder. Should be plenty out there.
hmm dude wot the hell are you talking about lol i have no idea wat to do lol:p
