Hello World

Hi everybody ,
My handle is tumbleweed and I am interested in building a personal website prodominantly for displaying photos, I quite like the look of flash built sites ( I think ) so I would be gratefull for any information/tips or resorce sites anyone has found usefull.

Hi tumbleweed!
I won't do myself a flash-built-site for images. That would be so heavy and cost lots of work. I prefer PHP with image-search in folder, so you need just make a script and put images in folder and script makes rest. So simple Wink

There would be informations about that in Scripting- and Designing-sections. Be wise and spare yourself, that would be my suggestion for you Wink

Points taken ......... I am sliding towards the "dont know what the hell to do now " option Razz

..........Plus I think I need to wrap my head around some more terminology before I comit time to learning new skills.
I have had a little play with html ( hence the title ) and I know you can load images/flash movies to html files to display them, I figured I could do the same but load images ect to a flash site and there would be no difference....... but thats why I am here ... to learn from the experienced
