The author of this topic wants to become a domain name registar (ie, he provides domain reigstering). He's asking how to become one and we're showing him how.

...You must complete an ICANN Registrar Accreditation Application and send it to ICANN along with a non-refundable US $2,500 application fee... US$4,000 yearly accreditation fee.

It's not free, for whoever asked... it's $2,500 plus $4,000 yearly, plus $o.25 per domain sale.

It's 0.25$ to ICANN and 6$ to Verisign per domain. And you need to make a huge investment in servers and some spare capital on the bank for emergencies.

A better idea is to become a domain name reseller. This means that a larger company is actually the registrar, but you're reselling their services.

GoDaddy Resellers: https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/reseller/basic.asp?se=%2B&ci=3305
DirectI resellers: http://beta.resellerclub.com/pricing/

However, it's still expensive, and your prices would need to be pretty high to make a profit (at least US$10 per domain).

i recomment enom etp programme. bcoz they are giving API and reseller under reseller option. click the link to signup...

http://www.enom.com/resellers/default.asp
