Why not have a top site script here in the forum , where all the members hosted will add thier links , and other users can vote them on top .
Probably how that ever-slow-in-coming frihost index will work.
At least that would be a good way for it to work.
Another (perhaps simpler) way would be to decide the top sites by number of hits. They could even be listed by SEO quality.

I think this is the best idea - how about 5 or so "featured sites" of the day?If they were random, nobody would click them.
It would be no different than the "Advetize your site" section, where you may get a dozen or so hits, and no more.

Yeah, but if it was a "Featured Site" that the staff liked, or the most popular site by traffic, it would be quite valid. I agree that just any random sites would be a bad thing, since an awful lot of them are "under construction" according to their homepages. | Animal wrote: |
