Teaching adults with Asperger's Autism

I am about to start teaching a friend of mine who has Asperger's autism. I have a better time at it than most people. IMO However, I could use some more insight and understanding. It is hard for him to explain to me the way his mind works and hard for me to notice the which methods work and which dont with him. He is an adult not a child and works well anyone who has patience or understanding. Just about all the info I have found are for childeren between 6-12. Any suggestions? by the by teaching him IT knowledge and skills

Wow! I don't have any suggestions for you, but I'd love to hear how it goes for you.
I have a friend with a 13 year old with Aspergers, and my husbands nephew was recently diagnosed... they are AMAZING kids! I used to work with some people with high-functioning autism, and it was an interesting experience.
Of course, every individual is unique.
I hope you enjoy your experience and are prepared to learn as much as to teach!
