while reading some news articals the other day I came accross one about the google pc. From what is being understood it will be google everything. Google operating system, Google web browser, etc and the most expensive pc is selling for $300 canadian. In my opinion microsoft dosn't stand a chance.

And mwuah, will microsoft truly fear google? I think that depends on their ideals. Currently microsoft is still after the big bucks, selling operating systems for high amounts of money and all. Having free alternatives such as linux they are being bothered a bit already, not much though since windows is more popular and (thought of to be) easier to use.
Google though is something extremely popular, if google will come with something in regards to an OS then this will pretty much suck for microsoft. If google will release a browser it will do shit for microsoft, people will still have bought windows so they still got their money. Internet explorer is just a free product which you get along with it.

I don't think Microsoft fears Google, but Microsoft will try to ally with Google just for the profit in this deal.

i think they do. it will happen, maybe not now but sometime..sooner probably. haha, just think of the community of google, worldwide developers and allied with FOSS, Microsoft dont stand a chance! its like saying one vs gogol (100 zeros?)
