Where to find Java Scripts

I guess this must be the place to post, since i have no intention of giving a design tip. It's more of a question.

Can anyone tell me where i can find Java Scripts. My knowledge is them is pretty low, so it would be much appreciated if the source had a little bit of tutorials, here and there on how to handle them in your webpages

Regarding the tutorials - the best place to search for them would be google.

I have come across dozens of javascript help-n-how to pages but here are a couple that really stand out in mind:

The there is always the voice of the source, Netscapes Official Javascript Guide (Netscape invented Javascript for those of you not in the know):

I have very basic knowledge of Java too, but from what I have learned, the best place to gain java knowledge is from it's developers: http://java.sun.com/.

JavaScript is case sensitive unlike VBScript. Having a knowledege in C/C++ is quiet helpful for C++ is also a case sensitive. Check this link: http://www.w3schools.com and click learn JavaScript. God bless!

I normally go to http://dynamicdrive.com there are lot of scripts too. or http://pixelfx.org with script coding and a step by step tutorial on how to use this script.
