simple but frustrating.... how to http to my site???

Ok...

I have completed my HTML stuff...

I have FTP'd the files to the server

the email I received said that my domain is
ranch.frih.net

but it does not resolve

I also tried
ranch.frih.net/index.htm

and
ranch.frih.net/index.htm/

I do see that there is some info about registering your domain and DNS settings from another provider...

Is frihost only for space? I would have thought that if I typed in
ranch.frih.net
as the URL it would load my page.
then I thought that if I want something fancy like
www.myranch.ca then I would have to register the domain and put in the name servers... but I would think that if I am ok with the default of ranch.frih.net then I do not need to do anything?

help...

I did check FAQ and did a search in forums but did not see anything.

wonder if in the new section if there could be a link of step by step? Perhaps there is but I could not see nor seach it.

only have the cattle up there so far... it is that time of year again... 1-20 calves a day so kinda busy LOL

there are a couple of pictures on there now... they are appaloosa horses mostly.

a lot of the site is up there now... some sorting to do on the contact us and the bits spurs and chaps page but hopefully by the weekend LOL

temporarily have info re cattle auction in march but will remove that once it is over and make it more personal. Just some folks are calling and looking for info so thought we would help them out.
