Phpbb Forum Installation Not Working

Now that I took care of CHMOD, it still will not work, and I've read the tutorial on the website (and 3 others in addition to the one here).

I have downloaded from www.phpbb.com and extracted onto my desktop.

I uploaded the phpbb2 folder to public_html/forums (so the directory is public_html/forums/phpbb2)

I created the MySQL database successfully.

I CHMOD the config.php

Now, when I go to runestore.frih.net/forums I get a permissions error.

When I go to runestore.frih.net/forums/install/install.php I get nothing (it cannot find the page).

When I go to runestore.frih.net/forums/index.php nothing happens (it cannot find the page).

I followed the instructions exactly and am just frustrated.

Hmm maybe try uploading and running the installer again? Maybe try chmoding the enitre site after you install?
