I just received my hosting account today and both cpanel and Directadmin will not accept my username and password...but I am able to login via ftp. Is this a problem of propagation? I have always been under the understanding that you need not change your primary and socondary DNS numbers to accomdate sub-domains. Please don't take me wrong, I believe you are by the finest free web-host avaible and I am looking forward to a long profitable relationship.

The main reason I need those logins is so I may change my password and setup a full addon domain I own.

One last question, is CPanel still being used...I kinda like it Smile

Any help and/or assistance anyone could offer me would be reatly appreciated.

Currently cPanel is maxed out, so there is no chance of you getting on that. If you have tried (and failed) at loging in at an excess of 17 then your IP address has been banned, this will have to be delt with by an admin Neutral.

Also, please make sure you are loging in at the appropriate spot (<domain>.frih.net:2222 is what l use) Neutral

Forgiveme as I am new here, but who are the Admins and how best to reach them? Via IM?

The one thing that has me confused, is that if I my (dynamic) IP was banned how come the FTP Server still allows me to login?

l don't know for sure if your ip was banned, that is just a worst case type thing, and Bondings is the only Admin that can reset that (l believe) Neutral.

Since you have a new account, you're on the DirectAdmin server. The address to DirectAdmin is http://cp.frih.net/ See if logging in there works for you. The username and password should be the same ones you got in the email/PM you got.

If you get banned, you're banned from the whole server (I believe). Since you can still use FTP, I don't think you're banned. You get banned by typing your password wrong exactly 17 times.

Trust me, you'll like DirectAdmin better. It's a lot easier to use, and has less bugs.
Bondings
Both http://vrythramax.frih.net/ and http://vrythramax.frih.net:2222/ are working like they should for me. You need to log in with the username and password you got in a pm/email. If you were able to log in with ftp, then your ip wasn't banned.

Strange, this morning I was able to login using Firefox but still unable to with IE and Mozilla...I keep getting the same message error from Mozilla and IE just ignores the request "DirectAdmin Login Page Invalid login. Please verify your Username and Password"

Any ideas or suggestions??
