is www.somthing.com/somthing

callled a subdomain or not..... ok wat ever it is called how can such a link be created??? like see theres no extension to the page "somthing" how is it created???

It depends what you want the /something to be.

For instance, if you load an image or an html file, the address for it will be www.site.com/image.jpg or www.site.com/file.html. If you want to add a new directory (not subdomain) then all you need to do is add a folder to your Public HTML area with an ftp client. Then the address would be www.site.com/folder/file.html for example.

A subdomain would become http://subdomain.site.com

Hope this helps!

As far as DA is concerned, yes, another directory under your private HTML dir is a subdomain Neutral and it is best to do it through DA because it will also give it all the files it needs to be its own site completely un-related to the main Neutral.

I thought it was the other way around? Doesn't DA treat subdomains as directories or does it do both?
