What are Frih$? Can someone explain the system?

I know this is a n00b type of question but since I'm a bit new to the FriHost system then I'm a newbie them. But what are Frih$, I search everywhere with no results, The faq says that I can spend these points for some sort of stuff, Can someone explain me the system?

You get them almost every time you post. You can give them away to any user. You can sponsor contests and give them away to the winners. You can give them to people in exchange for various goods and services in the marketplace. (you really should visit it) FRIH$ cannot be exchanged for any real currency.
Some people hoard their points, some count them as worthless and spend all they have. What you do is up to you.
