What is the major differences between Cpanel and directadmin
Cpanel and directadmin
Instant script installation from cpanel (fantastica) is the major advantage in cpanel. I don't know wheather there is such option avail in direct admin.
Directadmin is more stable.
Less bugs.
Cheaper.
Simplier.
Less System Intensive
Fantastico is very easy to use but it has a lot of disadvantages. People are installing all available software, just for trying it out. They then forget to remove them. So then it occupies a lot of disk space and generates a lot of cpu-usage, certainly when someone makes a backup of 200MB

I could swear I've heard you say that before...
Anyway, you're right n0obie, DirectAdmin is so much better, unfortunately, cPanel is more popular for some weird reason.
And I also like ISP-Config and VHCS, both are free and are good if you're setting up your own server.
