Actually, since you can't see the Moderators' forum, and since you can't see somnific's private messages, you wouldn't know whether or not we care now, would you?
Also, you should have noticed that I posted in almost all the threads he started or flamed in. I think I remember the ben o'reilly thread... do you?
Please don't try to conveniently blame things on the Mods. I know you don't like a few of us, but it's not like we don't do anything to maintain peace and civility on this site. The banning of somnific means that we will ban members if required to maintain decency and sanctity on these forums.

I didn't notice he was banned til after I posted, sorry. I've just been watching him slam people for a few days, and the mods did little about it. (Yes, I saw one or two that had been addressed, but it was much less than what should have been). (I guess seeing the lack of response about his deleted poll thread sent me on a rant here.)
BTW, it's not a matter of not liking a 'few of you' at all. There's very few people I dislike in this world, and 99.9% of people in ANY on-line forums are not part those I dislike. How can you possibly like/dislike someone you haven't met?
Fact is, I'm very good (real) friends with at least 2 or 3 people that I constantly argue politics with in on-line mediums. I guess the reason I like them is because they're smart and have their own well thought out opinions. And we typically have more in common in real life than what shows in the political discussions.
Besides, you can't say I don't bring a lot of discussion to this board with my points and views.
It may be worth giving someone the benefit of the doubt for a short time, in case they were having a bad day or something and just got a bit silly and irate and started flaming. In any case he's gone now, and to that I say: Good Riddance!
