Adsense lies

beshoy80
I lost my Adsense account Mad Evil or Very Mad , with no explanation from them. Adsense lies as well. They claim to refund your account money ($60 in my Adsense account when they closed it) and I had driven lots of traffic to my pages with Adwords. They did not refund a penny to my Adwords account. Adsense kept it all for themselves.

Here's a link for a new forum site for those who want to tell about how Adsense has treated them unfairly:

Feel free to cry Google a river megabytes long, but I doubt they really care. Frankly, I think that websites like that are just a sesspool of people who've probably violated the Adsense Terms of Service, but haven't realised it due to the fact that they didnt take the time to read the contract. Honestly, wasting webspace won't help you guys at all.

Tell me, did you click on your own ads? Did you ask your friends or family to click on them? Did you put a text/image on your website asking to click on them? Did you stuff your pages with high-paying and unrelated keywords?

This is very simple. Repeated clicks and clicking for wanting to know about the ads are very different. Google guys can trace through the duration of their stay in the page they are visiting, which pages they eventually visit as they enter the page that opened up... And of course any clicking from the same IP will result in more problems for the webmaster concerned.

I don't think Google cheats.....

The Google team is very strict and also very secretive about banning adsense accounts. No specific reasons are given. Your money is forfeited, presumably to give it back to adwords ppl. But you cant help it. Google adsense today has no serious competion. Not Chitika contextual ads, at least.

To add to what dragon fly said, Google can tell that if there is an abundance of IP addresses in the same area (Yes, you can trace IP's to a general area), they'll know that you're getting people you know to click the ads.
Bondings
They know your ip, city, country, language, browser, operating system and clicking preferences. If you have the google toolbar installed, they know even more.

Small click fraud from normal people is very easy to track and discover, it just takes some time to be completely sure.

The big majority of people being kicked out of adsense did breach the adsense TOS, most of the time clicking on the google ads themselves. Of course there will always be some innocent people getting kicked out, but they are a very small majority, much smaller than the percentage of people being executed innocently. Wink

are informations from google toolbar also used by google adsense team ?

and what do u mean by clicking preferences ?

Surely it is all going too far with all the monitoring!

I have been supporting Google and now I know that they watch everything your computer is doing!!!

Do they watch GMail accounts too???

I am disgusted!

All those details are nothing special. Your ip reveals your country and sometimes even your city/village. And with every request your browser and operating system are revealed to the website in question. It's nothing special. But if all clicks come from the same ip-range or the same ip/country while visitors are international, then something is wrong.

The google toolbar is made to 'spy' people, just like all other toolbars (alexa, ...). It just monitors which websites you visit, which links you click on, ...

With clicking preferences, I mean the 'normal' click pattern. If there are ads on every page, they know how long people stay on average on every page, what the chance to click on a link is, ... The toolbar only makes it easier to track.

i know that google toobar is a spyware....... but i do not think the information or the data send from the toobar is used by the adsense team.

I have no idea wether they use it or not, but why shouldn't they be using it?

Here is the exact method why they ban you (I know someone who used to work for google). They log the ip of every ad that is clicked, if you have toolbar, they can monitor the time spent on the next page. They log the ips, if you have way to many visits (more than 5 in an hour to a certain site) it logs your ip. It stops showing the ad to your ip, and if you log into your google adsense account without renewing your ip (you could still be screwed if you are messing around to much they log your Romote Computer ID), and they check if you have clicked to many ads on your site, if so you get banned, I hope that helps. They worked with clients, so they didn't know to much about the inside stuff, but that is hopefully enough to help why you got banned.

No, why would they waste their time reading people's email? You've probably got no idea how in-depth tracking has become. Bondings could probable WhoIs query your IP address and find out who your ISP is, and where you're located. Live with it, man.

Yeah sometimes you can trace an ip up to a city or even village, sometimes only the country is known. The isp should normally always be there, I think.

they do not use it because it is not uniform.... google tolbar is not found on every system.

It made the Adsense Team easier to track down for those TOS breakers.. Thats all.. It just acts as a 'database' for em, collecting information.

What would it matter? I had AdSense and SiteMaps, etc. and yet on a page about how to add a flash file to a web-page, they show ads about NORWEIGIAN LEATHER SOFAS!!!

How can they ban you because of their goof-ups!!!

Some advertiser mistargetted their ads I guess, or they found a few sofas keywords on that page, I don't know. What I was talking about it stuffing your pages with "mesothelioma" or other high-paying keywords if your website is about flash.

Doesn't Google just choose the ads automatically? I just add the code and let it choose what gets shown.

Here is another thing I don't like:

Quote:
I have just clicked on refresh after reading the page with the ads about norweigian leather sofas and instead of ads, they show 'Public Service Messages' a.k.a 'HIGH PAYING KEYWORDS THAT GET YOU NO MONEY FROM WHEN OTHER PEOPLE CLICK ON THEM!!!' THEY'RE BIG ADS THAT FILL YOUR BOX THAT ADVERTISE THINGS LIKE 'Donate to Katrina Victims' AND OTHER HIGH PAYING KEYWORDS AND THE ONLY REASON THEY SHOW THESE ADS IS BECAUSE THEY SUPPOSEDLY CAN'T FIND ANY APPROPRIATE ADS!!!

WHAT ABOUT THE NORWEIGIAN LEATHER SOFAS??? THEY SEEMED APPROPRIATE ENOUGH!!! Laughing

GOOGLE IS MAKING LOTS OF MONEY JUST BECAUSE THEIR SERVERS DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POOP AND APPLE SAUCE!!! WHY???

Apologies in advance for the off-topic.

Actually, if you read the Google policies carefully, you'll find that they tell you that they don't delete your emails.

Quote:
You may organize or delete your messages through your Gmail account or terminate your account through the Google Account section of Gmail settings. Such deletions or terminations will take immediate effect in your account view. Residual copies of deleted messages and accounts may take up to 60 days to be deleted from our active servers and may remain in our offline backup systems.

It starts with the unique ID you're assigned via a cookie that expires in 2038 (check your cookies) on your first visit to Google. Factor in all the tracking, and they have a good idea of where you are. Then you get an e-mail address, and they've got your e-mails. Install the Google Toolbar, and they know what websites you visit.

Install the Google Desktop (http://www.tgdaily.com/2006/02/10/google_beta3_searches_across_computers/), and all of a sudden G$$$$GLE knows what's on your computer. That's a bit too much for my liking. Smile

Most daily visitors don't click on your ads unless they surf on it for hours every day, I guess. Google is very good in spotting click fraud, especially for small websites. They will most likely know the difference between fraudulent clicks from your behalf, from a competitor or real clicks. Also the volume is quite important.
moejoe
I've clicked on my ads a few times.
{Please dnt tell google Laughing)

Only because i was interested in the ad (and made 1c, Wow).

They should really issue warnings.

I guess instant banning accounts would make it easier to monitor the other millions of accounts that are functioning correctly.

I've made some $35 in my account, and if it were to shut down (like it happend to my friend) whould i recieve a payout?
He never recieved a check from google for he's $400! (was holding his payment).

Pretty Crappy if you ask me.

yeah they track u by ip address they banned my account after i had 50$ lol, ill try and apply again using but not with my info, and ill be using a proxy to click ads lol muahahah it works.
