I downloaded a template from a website It contained a html file , a image folder(which contains all images needed by the template) and a PSD file for editing .I edited the PSD file and changed the top banner where i typed my website name instead of the default.Then i saved the PSD file.But the html file is not changed what should i do.I am using Photoshop CS

Did you save it over the original? That way, the html source links will work. I would check the links in the html file to find out if they are pointing to the correct file. Also, check out to see if you are uploading the new files.
You dont just save it over the psd. There should be a jpg, or png, bmp.. w/e, but you will need to save over that file aswell.
Thanks for your help.I just saved the file using save option instead of "save for web".
