You (should) know its true, while US hip hop artists get bloated and sell sweet liquers, across the pond rappers finally find an identity, drop the American accent, get fresh rhymes about rainy UK city life, mis it up with them fresh two step beats, hark back to the genre's early 90's glory days, remember urban britain's debt to the Caribbean, however you look at it UK hip hop is on fire.....

True! Like Streets, it's better than enything that came out of USA. UK was allways full of fresh ideas and more avantgarde (spelling!) the US. Let go of any US influence! Europe is a credle of new ideas for the world!
Uk hip hop is great, some great lyricsits out there. a lot of people liking grime nowdays as well (personaly not too keen on the grizime myself) but the UK has got a great hip hop future!
yeah - I've been out of the UK for a while so not really very clear on what grime is all about - is it what spun out of acts like dizzy rascal??
