and l doubt he actually visited the site ever . l've only gone to about three pages to make sure they work, the rest is done just using the files And l check all the coding using local files, and my site isn't even in google yet, how the heck did this happen?!?!?!!?
l don't even have all the pages working yet, why would l have almost 100 hits?! isn't that something good? I mean that's what everyone who has a website wants right?

Are you talking about 100 hits or 100 pageviews? Because the hits include all images, css files and can be up to 10-30 hits per page.
I sure did visit your page and use probably 2mbs of your bandwidth

Yeah, mine had the same thing occuring to it. I was wondering if maybe someone was scanning the net for easy websites to hack or sumthin? Or is it like Bondings said bout the CSS and images stuff?
This is a strange occurence, I had something similar, but it was because I was using a poor counter....
i wish i was getting 100 hits i dont have anyone registered in my forums yet besides me and a friend. I'm So Lonely.

I agree, how could a tragedy like this happen to you man ? This is really really sad .l don't know, l don't think it is google, because l tried all my frequently used words that l was wanting to get noticed once google does spider me and wasn't anywhere in the listings , and l have only linked to it once l believe, and that was here so google shouldn't be able to find that .
And l am talking about visits, my hits are 2733 for the month . l haven't even finished coding it yet .
l am on DA so l use their statistics/logs, and l think those are probably fairly accurate since they are built in the server .
Anyone know of something l can install on the page that will track their IP address ? l would like to know at least if this is all one person, or if it is multiple people. The fact that your signature contains a link to your website could be the culprit. (Man, that was great grammar, huh?)

That would be true if not for this page http://frihost.com/forums/vt-20182.html. l can't use photoshop for crap so therefore, l would never create a page such as that . Besides that, l am very anal about proper english being used on my site, and each page goes through the spell check after every edit .
My site is a fan-site on a game The only thing l can think of, is if n0obie looked around to about 100 pages and that's assuming that it counts each visit as a page view, and not as each indevidual visitor 100's not a bad start

That is no guarantee of proper english. (Expecially if you use MS word to spell check it )
