if u want a fast and easy program where you just add the pictures and the gif animation will come out, i recommend this one: GIF Movie Gear.
it's a very simple and easy program whithout all those messy additions and it outputs small gifs suitable for the net.

hi! i'm trying to install animake, it warns me: "it's gonna change your internet configuration", what does it mean?

Well I'm also looking for a good animated gif maker/editor...
...But since I'm not a windows user, I would need an opensource one (that I can build) or one that is made for unix systems... (Ubuntu user)
Anyone knows such one?
Currently I'm using Gimp, which is great except that I only know how to make waves with it... Or is there a way to edit all images at once, not every layer apart...?
