Buy an Alienware, or build yourself a pc:

AMD Dual Core 5200 64
4gb Corsair Ram
2x 512 7800 Nvidia Cards
32inch HDTV
Razer Mice
Gaming Keyboard
1tb Hardrive
2 DVD RW drives
papercut
I'd Like:

Intel P4 Extreme! Edition (3.8 ghz)
6GB RAM
Alienware Case
Nvidia 7800+ 512mb
54" TV/Screen
Win-TV tv card
5TB hard drive (for all those videos!)
Any other cool case mods (lights, bells and whistles)
Animal
I'd go for an ultraportable 12.1" - 14.1" laptop (and it would have to look nice)

Running the (not yet released) Pentium M Dual Core Processor (at a reasonable clock speed to balance processing grunt and battery life)
2Gb Ram
Multiformat, high speed DVD RW drive
Built In 802.11a/b/g
Nvidia GeForce GO ~256Mb graphics card
A good few USB2 ports and a firewire port
Decent sound card and on-board speakers
Desktop docking station so that I could just lift it out, but still use mouse / external speakers / power supply etc at desk easily
100Gb+ 7,200RPM Hard Disk
Fingerprint Login
Dual-Boot with WinXP Pro and Ubuntu Linux

And most importantly, it would have to have a price tag of no more than $100 - no problem, right...?

I wish I could get the best that's available also, but with the rate of technology these days, your "dream" machine will only last probably about a month before something better comes out. Razz

I've built a P4 2.4GHz HT machine about a year ago which was my dream machine, because that was all that I can afford at the time. Now I'm sorta running out of room for PC's lol, so I'll have to do with what I got for awhile I suppose.

I recently got into PC building as a hobby. Amazingly easy and SO MUCH cheaper than off the peg. I built my DREAM PC for under £600 and I love it. Everyone should try it! Buy a book about it (like "Dude, you cand do it! How to Build a Sweeet PC")

It's cheaper, better components, and you aren't bound to the corporate machine. Whatsmore, you become tech-savvy and ALWAYS know what to do when things go wrong.

PS. If you do this, use LINUX! Windows is too expensive and LINUX IS BETTER.
