I love StarGate. Both SG-1 and Atlantis, but the first episode of SG1 ever piss me off. Got me in trouble...
I'm sure that if I had seen the first episode of SG-1 first (I started watching during the Season 3 broadcast here in Australia) then I wouldn't have watched the series. As it stands, I've seen most of the episodes of SG-1 now up to the middle of Season 10 (as it is currently being broadcast here). As for Atlantis, I have only seen the first two seasons (Season 3 hasn't broadcast here yet). Probably some of my favourite episodes from each season include:

I wathced the film on it's release, and enjoyed the film, and premise immensely. - Just my thing!
I was a little dubious when SG-1 came out, and as a result, didn't watch it until the fifth season was on TV (I watched Series one repeats that were on before S5 show) and was hooked immediately. I got straight on to HMV.co.uk and bought Seasons 1-4 on DVD - best purchase ever. Watched them back to back, and by the time I'd finished watching 1-4, season 5 was on DVD, so I bought that...watched them just in time for Season 6 on TV.
One of my favourite 5 programs of all time. Genius.
