i need a mod which can tel the user if he has posted in a particular thread or not by displaying a sort of icon on the topic.... hope u got my point.

There is a Mod that already exists that does this. I've tried searching for it but cannot find it. if you find it and cannot install it then I will do it for you for free
I thought that was general coding in most forums now? Every forum I've been do has a little person symbol if you've posted...

First off I have to say that it seems that you have a really bad attitude and now backtrack my statement of installing it for you. The mod that I tried to mention was the exact same concept but for polls.

I know, I was just telling shwetanshu of my confusion between the Mod that they wanted and the mod that I had seen around thats all, i thought that they were the same at first (i'm quite disliking this points system now, I think I might join your side in protest of it).

oops sorry if i seemed harsh... i didnt meant it the harsh way... i can explain wat exactly i meant in my mother tongue (hindi) but i cudnt bring it out well enough in english, sorry if it hurt u

No, you didn't personally hurt me. I just thought if you wanted help then you shouldn't haev said it as it did seem too strong, apology excepted, (if you want me to install it then PM me)
nah i wanted it for another forum in which topix run into 5< pages and it was difficult remembering whether a user has posted in it or not, i dont myself use phpbb
