What is up with the POP3 e-mail?

I have set up some POP3 e-mail accounts for my site (LinkUp) but have not been able to use them.

I use configured the accounts in Outlook Express using the downloadable registry files from DirectAdmin. When I click on Send/Receive the dialog box appears and says 'Finding Host', but for some reason it can't find the host! What is wrong

I have no idea. I just tried out the autoconfig for outlook express and I was able to send and receive email.
