WTF, I rented SG - 1 and watch it. Think it will be cool and stuff. I don't care about the effect, it's good for 1997, but the problem is the rating. It said it not suitable for children under 14. I am almost 16, watching it with my family, I have 2 brother, 1 14 and another one younger. In the middle of the first epidsode, it show nude women! WTF!
My parent got mad at me saying why I rent nude video. Now they probably now going to let me watch StarGate again... It didn't say anything about nudity on the show and StarGate not suppose to have any of those thing on it. 
If I don't made any mistake, this is the only time you can see nude on this show.
hope you'll enjoy the others episodes.
problem is I probably wouldn't be able to watch StarGate anymore... because it gave my parent such a bad impression.

Understandable right?It sounds like the rating got carried over from the uncut version of Children of the Gods. This was the pilot, made before Stargate figured out what kind of show it wanted to be. It was originally on Showtime, in a lineup of softcore erotica shows like Red Shoe Diaries.
I'm glad they PTB finally figured out they didn't have the budget to take itself that seriously.
WHAT???? WHERE????? I have season 1-8 on DVD and never once saw anything pornographic!!! Bar something in season 8ish, where the cloned Sam, but it didn't show anything, whats the name of the episode?
