can somebody plz let me noe how to turn my pagefile size down? its set at 2gigs and i have 1gig ram installed..the reason i want to turn it down is coz its useless and i can use that 2gigs elsewhere..so can somebody help..thanks

If you're running Windows, right-click on MY COMPUTER, hit PROPERTIES then select the ADVANCED tab. Under PERFORMANCE, hit SETTINGS then select the ADVANCED tab. Under VIRTUAL MEMORY, press change.
You should set your pagefile to a set size rather than between two sizes. This will help stop it fragmenting and slowing down your computer.
With 1Gb of ram, you could actually disable it entirely, but it will depend on how many programs you want to run. Experiment with it till you find the best performance.

yea and as a reference the approx size youll want to use if you use any is 1.5 gb since the ratio is 1:1.5 on ram to page file
