Does anybody here watch WWE Wrestling???
I am not the biggest fan but I do enjoy it.
Especially some of the Divas.
Look forward to hearing from you guys
Rsam
Used to watch Wwe RAW weekly, but I haven't seen a full show in a while. Just sort of got dissinterested. The Divas are hot, as they always will be, but that's not enough to draw me to watch it anymore. I miss the old days of Bret Hart and stuff.

Its not the same anymore, It was my favorite sport long time ago, Stone Cold, The Rock, Mick Foley, the REAL Undertaker and Kane and such, now it sucks, the show is Triple H ruling the whole thing, its not the same as before.. theres no hardcore title, lightheavyweight title, or cruiserweight man it stinks now...
Cena
I LIKE JOHN CENA~~~
HE COME TO RAW NOW~~~
(I'M IN HONG KONG=.=
I CAN'T SPEAK GOOD ENG...SORRY)
Manimal
I watched WWE get their booty's kicked on The ECW 1 Night Stand pay per view.
Man it's a shame Booker T wasn't there though.
Might of been a different outcome.

WWE is not Sport. Even the name World Wrestling Entertainment tells you - its Entertaiment. The "wrestlers" have to follow scripts. The top wrestlers spend more time on the microphone - saying their lines - than they do wrestling Smile - Sorry to say - everything is scripted - from the referee getting knocked out and then "waking up" at just the right time - to every blow of a "steel chair".

But even though we know this - its like watching a soap opera - sometimes you can get surprised.

I have no doubt that a 300 pound man can do some serious damage - but most of the action is "controlled ". Sometimes things go wrong and someone breaks a bone and it becomes interesting.

For the most part - its just fun to watch and the babes/diva's aint bad either.

Cheers,
Nick.
prithvi
Yeah, I watch it too...........but only on TV, as I am far away from the action.

Well the matches are fake..........
BUT when a 300 pounder falls on a wooden plank, thats not fake.
When a wrestler leaps down from 15 ft, thats not fake.
When someone bangs a metal chair on your forehead, the bump on the forehead is not fake.
When a 7 footer topples a large vehicle over, thats not fake!

Oh yes, the Divas are HOT! Very Happy

cmon folks, we watch it only for entertainment, don't we?
IT'S NOT MEANT TO BE REAL SPORT

Why do we watch movies.....even they are fake, after all
Kelcey
They've admitted it's scripted for a long time now. What's great about RAW and the PPVS is that they're live. Sure you see some real fake crap like a completely missed punch or something, but they do a good job for being live. A lot of the matches are boring to me... I particularly watch it for the funny segments. For example, Carlito was ripping on jericho and he's like, "Seriously, love handles, that's not cool." I hecka busted up laughing. They have some good matches some times like HBK vs Benjamin. I don't buy PPVs cause I do'n't have the money for it.

I have watching wwe wrestling for more than 5 years. no interesting any more.
same story for a long time. so I can even expect who will win in the match. HHH and JBL always wins.
now It's just for kids.
THE11thROCK™
Eddie Guerrero "The Latino Heat" is really fun to watch. He's really good in his acting job in WWE. But all of them is still no match to the death antics of The Undertaker. How I miss the days of WWF. The once great Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior and Hacksaw Jim Dugan. All this shows are crap - but they give good fun and entertainment. Definitely a must-see! Very Happy

You're right about that. HHH and JBL toss their weight around on their respective brands. However, they've lost lately. HHH lost 3 times in a row to Batista and JBL lost to Cena in the "I Quit" match.

I have kind of lost track now due to all the Smackdown/Raw Changes. And whats this about ECW and who is in charge of it ? So far I have seen a couple of people wearing ECW T-Shirts ( Like ROb Van Dam ) on smackdown and I wonder what that is about.

Very glad to see the Hooooooo-train again Smile Its a feast for the eyes. Sure dont see what Lillian sees in BigVic, but I guess thats female logic Smile

I guess you can gather that the above may be old news but we only get the WWE stuff about a month later down here. I guess its cheaper then Smile

Cheers,
Nick.

WWE

"E" - stands for Entertainment, so that implies the fighting and the kick a*s scenes there are OBVIOUSLY SCRIPTED...

I dont want to be rude but this show seems to be peverted to me.. Frankly, I dont like the concept of it.. Idea

If you want real fighting.. UFC is the show! Wink
budazz

Ric Flair To Make Severeal Apperances In March 2009
Ring of Honor posted the following press release on its website earlier today:

Ring of Honor is proud to announce that it has signed a multi-event agreement with the legendary "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. His first appearance with the company will be in the St. Louis area on Friday, March 13th at the Gateway Center located at One Gateway Drive, Collinsville, IL 62234. Tickets for this historic event are now on sale at www.rohwrestling.com.

"Ric Flair is a legend in this industry and has been a huge influence on the careers of many Ring of Honor stars," said Ring of Honor president Cary Silkin. "The name ‘Flair’ has been synonymous with professional wrestling in the United States over the past 30 years, and it’s a wonderful privilege to have Ric appearing in Ring of Honor, adding his name to the list of legends that have set foot in the ROH ring. We agreed that the St. Louis area would be perfect for his first appearance in ROH because of his great wrestling history in that area. What could be a more wonderful way to say ‘thank you’ to those great St. Louis fans for supporting ROH than to bring the “Nature Boy” back to town one more time?"

Flair will be in the St. Louis area on March 13th for a special meet & greet autograph session that will be held from 6pm-8pm at The Gateway Center and he will also appear before the live crowd later that evening during the event. Autograph and show tickets are now on sale at www.rohwrestling.com. Autograph prices are $30 for the 1st item and $20 for each additional item to be signed. You can bring your own item or purchase Ric Flair merchandise at the building on the night of the show to get signed.

Please stay tuned to www.rohwrestling.com for more information on Ric Flair's appearance on March 13th along with additional events where you can meet the legendary “Nature Boy” in person!

Haven't watched wrestling in a while, but I see Edge is champion (his fourth reign apparently). I had a feeling when I first started watching that he was something special. Probably took some time to develop, but I always enjoyed him and Christian as a tag team.

Good to see Jeff Hardy is up there in the ranks too. Has he held the title yet?

Kind of annoying to see HHH up at the top still, but he was always pretty entertaining and hopefully he is trying to help and push the younger talent.
Noremac
I loved wrestling once, then I turned 9. My favorite was Golberg. I have no idea why.

Yes, Jeff has held the title. Jeff is a one time WWE Champion. Edge actually won his eight world title reign (fourth WWE reign) from Jeff after Matt turned on Jeff (which led to a decent storyline... although it led to tonight's SmackDown - which is probably one of the worst episodes that I have ever seen). Triple H is still on top - which does get annoying.

I love WWE especially their cheesy scripts and funny characters. I like the way The Undertaker moves. Such a rock star. Yeah! Taker rules!

Anyway, it's still scripted. LOL.
