howmuch would it cost me for a website, i need it to be call of duty themed, have a link for a forums,calender and members area

Please someone correct me if im wrong...but that would, in most cases cost you real $ mate.
i know, i dont want one made, im just interested what people actually charge for that.
would charge a minimum 100 dollars per page created, minimum of 4 pages. that doesn't include research, copy, images, etc... provided. thats just for the design and creation of the site. to maintain it, 10 bucks for small changes, 3 changes per month minimum, larger changes are on a case by case basis. but this would be a fully custom website. I think this is very reasonable.
But if you build and maintain it yourself, you could use Frihost for free, or pay a hosting company around 8 dollars a month.

It would depend on exactly what you wish it to be. Should it be an existing forum, do you desire a newly coded forum. The members area, integrated with the forums members accounts or not.
Personally I wouldn't even know many organizations which do it all at once, in general it's divided in both the template creation and the coding part.
Template creation basically is something from $50 or higher in general, depending on the quality you wish, what your exact desires are, etc. The toughest designs can go up to several thousand of dollars.
The coding part of the page usually is based on 10$/hour, so depending on what exactly you want that will go up as well. A member system, calendar system in general won't take long so won't cost that much. With most you can send along you template as well to let it be integrated.

If I would have to give an estimate how a reasonable looking site with these desires would look like, along with a default forum like phpBB, I would say something like 100$ for the template, 40$ for the coding. Coming up to 140$ in total.

it's not all that hard. USually just pay somebody to get your main apge created, and then you can pretty much go from there on your own.

You don't have to charge anything. I am currently creating a website for a member on FriHost Server 2. All I've asked him for is
1. for him to completely trust me
2. to add me to the safelist in the marketplace if he thinks I've done a good job, (so far)
3. for him to realise [which he already has done and is very supporting of it] that i won't be able to spend my full time on this project for educational and health issues.
4. to keep the small copyright notice which will probably be taken down once the site is complete.
So far the forum is just about done. There is also a home page which is not yet complete but is getting there.
I have also created a forum for one other person which was also for free.
I'm such a nice person, aren't I?

and freebe.be and nl.tt is also free. If you want a free site i'd recommend you to take a look in the marketplate. If you need anything you just need frih$ and you can get it. At least anything for your site.
