Anyone know any good free Authoring Tools/Html editing tools and page designer
On geocities they have a drag and drop page designer which is really good, does anyone know of good ones?
And my question is
what files do Frihost support on their webpages
and what are its limitations?
Sorry to say...you wont get 'em much better than notepad & a good imaging program (the GIMP)!
i know it takes time to learn, but you will like the results...because they will be your own! (and once you get some skills they will also be much better than anything done in a WYSIWYG editor imo).

You could try HTML kit; it's free and it is customisable to your need. I don't think it has drag-and-drop thingies, but hey, there is nothing wrong with you thinking a little bit yourself.
Maybe your brain will hurt at first, but after a while you'll love that feeling
The latest Dreamweavers are easy to use and probably the best to learn the basics in my opinion. I've always used it for the color codes and such... I could use another one or simply notepad, but I need flash, and DW comes with the suite
.
Thanks I've been hearing alot about Gimp and Dreamweaver
maybe i'll invest in both
GIMP is free mate! no investment needed!
lol well i already spent my money on dreamweaver and photoshop
im a photoshop man, and i say photshop, but seeing as u already have it, i would just start to learn how to use it! hehe
