role on advertisements on the search engine rankings

manumiglani
well i just want to discuss about the role of advertisements,
in a page's rank in search engine results.

does a page with ads is ranked higher in search engines than a page with no advertisements ?

Mmm, there would be reasons to say yes:
Ads usually are keyword dense
Ads form links

Both of this is what certain crawlers like google bot likes, perhaps it is programmed in such a way to ignore certain ads, but I doubt it could block all, especially if you arrange your own ads instead of through something like google, yahoo, etc.

Haven't truly seen this question before on webmasters forums so can't truly tell what the most accurate info is regarding this subject.
