i usually use notepad or frontpage (open office version is free; also mozilla's compozer is free) when i'm lazy. and if you want a web interface i'm gonna plug thomas' editor Wink

Hi there,

I've mostly been using Dreamweaver for the most of my webmaster career, tried a couple of times useing FP, but it's too much MS only supporting.

Yesterday did my old favorite program finaly get released with their latest version FirstPage 2006 as far as well is it still a freeware and can be downloaded at http://www.evrsoft.com. It's support the most you need to do and it even have build in wysiwyg editor, css editor and supporting the most scripting languages.

I haven't evaluated it finished self yet, but I can recommand others to try it and perhaps that we can make an discussion about it here in this forum later.

Other programs that I've been and still using is HTML-KIT, and it most cause of it's build in validator that really does work, and this is also to be downloaded for free at http://www.chami.com/html-kit/

It's really exciting to hear from others about their expirence about other editors, and some time in the future would I also like to try other programs.

I hope that we would be able to make many exciting and usefull discussions regarding this toppic in the future.
