has anyone here played the game Silent Hill? i heard it is really awesome and has very good graphics and all that stuff, i am waiting to get my hands on it though, can anyone tell me about this game and the latest version of this or something?

Latest version isn't as good as Silent Hill 2. SH2 is the best of all SH.
One of those horror games that uses great SFX...I find the angling superb as well... 
The 1st Silent Hill (PS1) scared the hell out of me.. Heck it was even scarier than RE.. Silent Hill also features some of the puzzles in a video game.. it really made you think.. it is witty as well as scary.. And it also offers replayability (has a number of endings i think...)
