that lamp looks huge in the second picutre
it's a gas heater thingy, they're about 8 feet tall and designed to radiate heat over a reasonable area. I hate winter so I chose to stand in the cosiest spot .
.i didn't know it got cold in australia, and isn't it your summer there?
