just want to know which web sites are for you the best ones ... i mean hte most impressive, the nicest ... the ones that get the nicest intro in Flash for example ... well just let us know your impression about one or more web sites! Razz

For me it would have to be http://blizzard.com/ because unlike most sites gaming companys and just normal companys alike you can actually FIND what your looking for without accsidently clicking on get your own free x-box 360 today banners or pop-ups!

The website which I think is the best is... (surprise, surprise) my own! *points at sig* Absolutel hilariarity for comparitively small downloads! What else could you want?

Also close by is http://www.neverendingnights.com/ Almost but not quite as much hilariarity for somewhat larger downloads.

I agree with David - if I'm looking for information I don't want to have to put up with 5 minutes of flashy graphics before I can start reading something useful. On the other hand, if I'm just looking around it can be fun to see some cool graphics.

Flash intros are sooo annoying, there is nothing nice about them at all Neutral l would much rather just have a nice .gif image as a banner than have to sit through thirty seconds of a baby hatching out of an egg, growing wings and flying away then being taken to a site that has nothing to do with that intro!!!!

But seriously, I like the GameDev layout. It's nice and clear, easy to use. No unneeded crap.

As second best I like the dutch tweakers.net community. Yet again, it has a nice layout. Somewhat harder to use due to an overload of menu's, but it fits the content.

As third I like hotscripts. Layout is good and stylish, easy to use. Only true downside is the overload of ads on the page. They are nicely worked out though so it doesn't truly bother.
