#1 First goto search folder's type in clock.avi or .avi either or when it finds it right click on it create a short cut send it to your desktop, This will unlock SP2 run your server at 256fps I will explain more about this in the end.

1 Click Start. Select "Run"
2 Type "Gpedit.msc"
3 Expand "Local Computer Policy" branch, click on it
4 Expand the "administrative templates" branch, click on it
5 Expand The "Network" branch , click on it
6 Highlight the "QOS Packet Scheduler" On the left side
7 In The right window, doubleclick the "limit reservable bandwith" setting
8 On The setting Tab, check the "enabled" item
9 Where Its says "Bandwidth limit %" change it to read 0
10 Close out that window and reboot your system
Turning off nonessential window's services that slow the system Down!
Goto Control Panel, Administrative tools, then Services
To Disable a service right click on it a select disable or stop
Here is my list< Application Manager, CilpBoard, Error Reporting, Indexing, IPSEC, Messenger, Telnet, Windows Time.
Set CPU Priority for server
1 Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete on keyboard
2 Select the "Processes Tab"
3 Find srcds.exe on the list
4 Right Click on srcds.exe
5 Click set Priority, Then select high
You Have to do this everytime the server starts
Fine Tuning Memory:You Can back up your reg if you like before tweaking, Run, type regedit goto file export make sure all is selected at the bottom of that page export reg to desktop, Done
Fine tuning Memory you need atleast 256mb
Goto Start, run and type regedit and locate the the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management ok why there, step 1
1 DisablePagingExecutive, double click it, select Decimal, and put 1 in the blank, ok -this allows xp to keep data in memory now instead of paging sections of ram to harddrive yeilds faster performance.
2 LargeSystemCache double click it, select Decimal, and put a 1 in the blank -this allows xp kernal to run in memory and improves system performance alot
3 Create a new dword and name it "IOPageLockLimit" double click on it and set the value in Hex - 4000 if you have 128mb ram, set it to 10000 for 256mb ram or 40000 if you have 512mb or more - this tweak speeds up diskcache.
After all these tweaks you must reboot!! Or They will not work
Tweak Swap File:
You Must 256mb or better for this tweak it will boost windows performance,This tweak tells windows not to use any Swap File until there is no more free Ram Left
1 Select Start, Run, Type in "msconfig" in the box. Select "System.ini", Then add "ConservativeSwapFile=1" under the 386enh section.
Ok Before you start your server start windows clock when it stop minamize it then start youy server you must leave the clock on your server will run at 256fps lower you ping You can get 2 to 6 more people in your server enjoy
