Khm... A topic about Half Life 2 has already been posted.
But if I'm here... I have it on PC and it's really cool. Played it over three times.
I was expecting something better after all that hype about it though. Eh well.

Yea I played it on PC too. Overall it was pretty good but wasn't as good as I thought. Had to find myself a walkthrough cause I got stuck multiple times.

Good game I have heard, but my comp isn't new enough to handle it.
I bet it looks and runs better on the xbox than my current PC right now. I'm using a laptop with a graphics card thats almost 3 years old.
Half-life 2 is amazing. I have it for the xbox and have played on it on the computer and i can't see any difference but there may be a difference over the whole game seeing as i have only played for about ten minutes. The physics engine is awesome and it really gets you involved. I invited a couple of friends round and with the lights out we played the levels in the city at night time. Scary as hell literally. I nearly wet myself.
There is wonderful graphics...

I think it's more fun to play Half-Life 2 on a desktop.
then on a console, as a first person shooter is easier to control with a mouse then with a tiny joystick.

Half Life 2 is simply awesome! It has brilliant graphics and good storyplot. I have seen the Xbox version and is better to play in a desktop or laptop.
But, in both systems, it's absolutely one of the best games I've played in 2 years.

The "We dont go to Ravenholm anymore" is freaking scary. Especially with those zombie that run like dogs and can climb wall. Also the sound contribute to that fear atmosphere.
Great game.

I stopped playing HL2 for awile when I went to that level. I'm at the part when that Mad Priest guy gives you his shotgun. I always get that "Game too scary now i'm shaking" feeling.
what are system requirements to play HL2 on PC.
Can I play it with Radeon 9600 256MB DDR Video card?

Yea, you can play
I played it on my Last computer before I got a new one over the summer - PIII 800 Mhz, 512 Ram, WinXP, GeForce4, SB Live. It looked like crap, but I could play it. It is all in the Video card, my brother has that card and the game looks and plays great. Just try out the settings, and don't be worry about playing at the highest Resolution.

I have to admit it, I was affraid the first time I played it at night. Whow are those monsters strong.
Trick here is to just go and run, cause when you run around in circkels, they will respawn over and over again.
HL2 need high computer hardware
this is a nice game , graphics is beautiful and also better than cz

I like Half Life very much! I like allmost of violent games such as DOOM, GTA etc! I think it help us stronger in our attitude!
I loved HL2 when I got it over a year ago for christmas. In fact, it's the only game I've ever completely finished
Yeah, all the scenes with the priest and those jumping skeletons, those sounds... Mind you, I actually played this in my otherwise silent room, with headphones, in the dark. Wonderful
And you don't need such a good pc to play it. The guys at Valve have always done a wonderful job enginewriting. I mean, if you compare graphics and system specs between doom3 and hl2 and such... pfff, hl2 is da bomb...
