Chad Smith is one of the best drummer around. He play's smooth, clear and square. Sure those metal drummers are probably faster, but his breaks are wicked, and i haven't yet found someone who could compare.

Don't get me starting about the base!

Anyway, they rock...

they're not my favourite band but they're quite good. especially good guitar riffs and some good lyrics too. very good sense of humor, and this is very important.

heh, I think they may be one of the biggest bands worldwide, perhaps thats just me though. You missed the 'hell yes' option on the poll. They are incredibly talented, and although by no means my favorite band, they are indeed awesome.

i'm pretty sure Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the best bands of the last two decades.. myself, i love them.
