small but useful to a large number of people I think.

A small section either in the FAQ's or the TOS about excatly wher you stand on money making through frihost as in placing paid adds on the site to running a business site on your servers.

Just a thought as quite a few people are asking and as far as I am aware there is no clear defnate answer anywhere.

You may do whatever you want with your website as long as it stays legal, of course. If you want to make (a lot) of money with it by placing advertisements on it or by starting a business site/e-commerce, it's all ok for me.

But of course, if you make 1 000 000$, think of your favourite webhost and contribute some part of it to us. Wink Just kidding, btw.

To be clear:
You may place paid ads on your website.
You may start an online business on your website.

Yeah...when somebody becomes a millionaire on a business hosted at frihost, and whether or not they still prefer to be hosted here after that, they should atleast remember their old (and still poor) mates back at frihost and try to "help", right ?
