Age of Empires II or III

I'm thinking about purchasing Age of Empires. I've played Age of Empires II and thought it was great. Is Age of Empires III really better? (i've never played this one) Which one should I get, and where can I get it for the cheapest price?

I personally dislike AoE III alot. I still play AoE II but a day after I bought AoE III I returned it..

AOEIII Loses that Age of empires feeling, AOE1 was great, and AOE2 Just improved on that But AOE3 Just dose'nt feel like the same game anymore. Whether It's the introdustion of Guns, or the now updated graphics system, it just dose'nt play like the classic Age of empire Games. Stick with somin' else, Civilization Maybe?

AoE II is awesome if you'll be playing online. I've only done the trial of AoE III but I still like AoE II better (I might get AoE III eventually)

l like the Civs more, try those out, they aren't that much and they are well worth the buy Neutral

I have all 3 age of empires games, and AOEIII is the best by far.

AOEII is a great game as well, but it's not nearly as good as the new one.

I like Age of Empires II very much, it has own atmosphere, but i cant say the same about Age of Empires III.
