Hi Guys,

I'm searching for a Font converter (running in Win) that allow me to transform PFM/PFB fonts in TTF. (possilbly freeware)

Can you help me?

Well it seems that you haven't searched hard enough at Sourceforge. There is an open source program called Fontforge at Sourceforge. Try it out, sure works for me on Linux.

I want a free Font Creator which can create fonts based on bitmaps and is user friendly and easy to use.

It shuld be free and should work on Microsoft Windows XP


Please help me I will give you 10 Fri$ for that if you satisfy me in that terms.

Well DID YOU TRY FONTFORGE ????

A free easy to use font creator is an oxymoron. It doesn't exist yet. If you do find one, then please mention it in the forums. Put in a little bit of effort to learn FontForge. It is a very powerful creator for people who are really interested in font creation.

If you are looking for some software to amuse yourself and spend some time and boost your (pitifully low ?) self esteem, do a search for "Free font creator"

While designing new fonts, please be careful of the copyright isues in typefaces. Check around for fonts under GPL to hack on, so that you can learn font design from a working font. And when you do make that next great font, please do publish it under a permissive open source license for others to enjoy working with.
