What do you prefer: phpbb or smf. ?

PhpBB is the most popular, smf is also a good choice, certainly its shop mod(made by one of our members).
Hm...now i must say that i've choosed smf. for the first time and it tooked about one hour to upload the file 
. But now i've discovered the FTP upload and i'm happy 
because now i can change much faster settings or FORUMS.
So...i was disappointed because smf has a poor graphic (even the themes are not so good looking...)...now i try phpbb...to se if i like it (i can change the forums free because i dind't make my web page public yet...i'm still working.
