site: www.confu.frih.net / you will see that it doesn't work

my script now is :
Quote:
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width="468" height="60" id="menu3" align="middle">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
<param name="movie" value="http://www.confu.frih.net/menu3.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><embed src="http://www.confu.frih.net/menu3.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="468" height="60" name="menu3" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></object>

if you try to open http://www.confu.frih.net/menu3.swf, it doesn't work either [i think] , but if i load it from my ftp it works :/ i watched at serveral pages like this one [the flash support forum]

What client are you using? You should use Filezilla as that is the least buggy client I've ever come across. Also make sure you're uploading to public_html.

i have some flash games in my website but it works with InternetExplorer and Netscape, it doesn t work with Firefox Mozilla and i dont know why ... but i m using Filezilla (client ), yes it is the least buggy client.

Try not to use absolute paths... and as for the swf... there must have gone something wrong in the upload proces, maybe you placed it in an other folder then you specify in the value tag...

Try to find the swf by typing the url to the swf in your browser first, if you find him there then you can add the url to the param value.

Problem with last Mozilla Firefox 1.5 is pretty known, the Adblock in version 1.5 is blocking obj tags by default so it blocks flash too. Just go to Tools->Adblock->Preferences->Adblock Options and uncheck the Obj-Tabs. I hope they will fix it couse there was no problem with earlier Firefox versions and this is annoying. :/

I tend to favour Reins' solution.

Drop the path statement (http://www. etc.), make sure you upload the .swf file into the same directory as the web pagese (public_html).
Also check the filename is EXACTLY correct in spelling AND case.

Good luck.
